Explanation of terms:
 
 
 
Skill Level
 
 Beginner – A person who knows his/her way around the sewing machine, but doesn’t have the rotary cutting and ¼” sewing skills mastered.
 
 
 Intermediate – A person who has made quilts but who doesn’t feel comfortable with all aspects of the process.
 
 
 Expert - A person who has mastered all aspects of making quilts.
 
 
 
Basic sewing supplies-
  • ·         Various sizes of hand sewing needles
  • ·         Scissors for fabric
  • ·         Scissors for paper
  • ·         Pen or pencil & writing paper
  • ·         Tape measure and/or ruler
  • ·         Seam ripper
  • ·         Several spools of thread (basic colors – varying shades of tans and greys)
  • ·         Pins
  • ·         Sewing machine in good working order with new needle inserted and owner’s manual
